Pack Opener Setup

Change anything below, watch the preview, then copy your OBS link. Your settings are remembered in this browser.

Rewards

Make the rewards on Twitch first: Creator Dashboard → Viewer Rewards → Channel Points → Manage Rewards. Then pick them here — the overlay only reacts to the rewards you choose.

Stop spam: limit how often packs can be redeemed

Every redemption waits in line and nobody loses a pack, but limits keep the line short. On Twitch:

  1. Go to Creator Dashboard → Viewer Rewards → Channel Points → Manage Rewards.
  2. Click your pack reward to edit it and scroll to Cooldown & Limits.
  3. Cooldown — e.g. 5 minutes: after anyone redeems, nobody can redeem again until it's over.
  4. Limit Redemptions Per User Per Stream — e.g. 1–3: each viewer gets that many packs per stream.
  5. Limit Redemptions Per Stream — a cap for the whole stream. Twitch counts per stream, not per day, so if you stream once a day this works as a daily limit.
  6. Tick Skip Reward Requests Queue so pack redemptions don't pile up waiting for you to approve them.
  7. Click Save. Do the same for the Premium reward (a higher point cost helps too).

Leaderboard & busy streams

Leaderboard commandAnyone can type it in chat to see the top 3 viewers by total pack value. Works once every 30 seconds.
Command text
Also show it on screenOnly between packs, for 8 seconds.
!binder commandReplies with a link to the viewer's own binder: every card they've pulled, with filters and a 3D card viewer. "!binder @name" links someone else's. Once every 30 seconds per viewer.
Badge celebrationsWhen a viewer earns a badge (first Secret Rare, 100 cards…) or completes a set, it gets its own moment on stream and in chat.
Speed up when packs pile upWith 3 or more packs waiting, they play 1.6× faster until the line is short again.

Redemptions always wait in line and are saved inside OBS, so a crash or reload never loses anyone's pack. An "Up next" tag shows who's waiting.

Preview

Test packs never count toward collections, pity or top pulls, and never post in chat.

Your OBS link

  1. In OBS add a Browser source and paste this link as the URL.
  2. Set width 1920 and height 1080 (other sizes work too — it scales to fit).
  3. Tick Control audio via OBS so the sound gets its own slider.
  4. Untick "Shutdown source when not visible" — a hidden or shut-down overlay can't hear redemptions.
  5. Changed something here? Copy the new link and paste it over the old one.

Keep it running smoothly

  • Add it only once. To use it in more scenes, use Add → Existing and pick the same source. Two copies would open every pack twice and post twice in chat.
  • OBS must be running when packs are redeemed. Twitch doesn't resend redemptions, so anyone who redeems while OBS is closed loses their points. Pause the rewards on Twitch when you're offline.
  • Collections, the leaderboard and the sleeve rotation live inside that OBS source. Deleting the source or clicking Refresh cache of current page wipes them. Pasting a new link keeps them.
  • A red "⚠ Pack opener" message in the overlay's corner means something needs fixing (usually: reconnect Twitch here and paste the new link). It stays until it's fixed.
